Tarumo
Tarumo captures a departing expert's tacit knowledge
When an expert retires or moves on, their tacit knowledge, everything that was never written down, walks out with them. Tarumo captures it in time. Tarumo is an online service for companies, developed and provided by Enarra Oy.
How it works
Identify, interview, approve, ask
An interview takes the expert about ten minutes at a time. The knowledge is kept in their own words, and nothing is published before they have approved it.
-
Identify
A manager records the key people, their areas of expertise and their departure dates. The Risk radar shows whose knowledge is at risk and when, and where to start.
-
Interview
The AI asks like an experienced mentor, with questions from the industry's knowledge pack. If an answer stays general, it asks for detail. The expert answers by typing or dictating.
-
Approve
The answers become a draft knowledge card. The expert approves, edits or rejects it. Only an approved card is published.
-
Ask
Anyone asks in plain words and gets an answer in the expert's own words, with the source. If there is no answer, Tarumo says so. It does not guess.

Services
How to get started
The price follows the number of key people, not users: you never pay for the employees who search and ask.
-
Mapping
Medium and large companies start with Mapping, paid once. After that you choose a monthly plan based on how many key people you have.

Handover
For small companies: one departing person, three months of interviews, and the knowledge cards for their successor. Suits a change of ownership, for example.

Pilot
Tarumo is in its pilot phase, and we are looking for our first customers. The pilot takes at most four months, and its terms are agreed in writing.

Principles
What we commit to
These rules are the foundation of Tarumo, not optional extras.
-
The expert decides what is published
A knowledge card is published only when the expert approves it. A card that has not been approved does not show up in search or in the AI's answers.
-
Answers only from approved knowledge
The AI answers only from published cards and names the source. If there is no answer, it says so instead of guessing.
-
We measure risk, not people
Tarumo shows which expertise is in danger of being lost. It does not evaluate, score or compare employees.
-
Data in the EU, kept apart
We commit to keeping servers, database, backups, AI and speech recognition in the EU. Each organisation's data is kept separate, down to the database level.
-
The interview belongs to the expert
In the service, interview answers are visible only to the person interviewed, not to the organisation's administrators or managers. Tarumo's staff access is described in the data processing agreement.
-
The knowledge is yours
Published knowledge cards can be exported at any time as Markdown and JSON files. Outdated information is replaced, not deleted: the version history stays.
